Association for cooperation and mediation in conflicts

Group MOST, an association for cooperation and mediation in conflicts, is a non-governmental, non-profit and professional organization dedicated to pursue capacity building for democratic changes in Yugoslavia. Group MOST was established at the beginning of 1992, and registered in 1993 at first as a collective member of the Center for Antiwar Action (CAA) and later as an independent organization in Belgrade. Group MOST seeks to develop and introduce an efficient, constructive approach to conflict and its transformation and apply these principles and skills to the public.

Group MOST main fields of expertise are peace research and education, conflict analysis and management, organizational development and democratic changes of the educational system. Since 1993 Group MOST has conducted numerous projects and developed several multi-level training programs for implementation in governmental and civic sectors.

Group MOST experts/consultants, trainers and facilitators (presently 25 graduate and post-graduate members) are highly renowned in the scope of their work. Over the time, Group MOST has established a network of 48 trainers / associates covering all the regions and more than 25 towns in Serbia and Montenegro.
Group MOST's activities are project-based. The main donors were United Nations Children's Fund, United States Institute for Peace, Fund for Open Society, Novib-Oxfam (Netherlands) and French Catholic Committee against Hunger and for Development.
